The Odessa College women’s basketball team returned to its winning ways with a 103-54 win over Weatherford College Friday at the OC Sports Center.
The Lady Wranglers moved to 14-2 while Weatherford College fell to 5-8.
Odessa College was led in scoring by Ivana Krajina’s 22 points while Sarengbe Sanogo had 16. Tia Shelling and Chelsy Bautista both finished with 12 points.
Weatherford College was led by Selina Gutierrez’s 17 points while Janavia Gage had 11. And Deja Lumsden had eight.
Odessa College took a commanding lead early in the game and didn’t look back, building a 39-10 advantage heading into the second quarter.
The Lady Wranglers will begin WJCAC play with a 5:30 p.m. road game against Midland College Monday at the Chaparral Center.
