CASPER, WY. The Odessa College women’s basketball team’s season came to an end with an 83-81 loss to Wabash Valley in the quarterfinals of the NJCAA Tournament Friday at the Ford Wyoming Center.
The No. 7 seed Lady Wranglers (30-5) were led in scoring by Tia Shelling’s 14 points while Chelsy Bautista, Ivana Krajina and Sarengbe Sanogo each had 12.
No. 2 seed Wabash Valley was led in scoring by Beautiful Waheed who had 26 points while Chloe Dallas and Madison Lewis each had 14.
Wabash Valley will advance to the semifinals.
