The Permian and Odessa High softball teams will face each other at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Ratliff Softball Complex.
It is the second meeting of the season between the schools, with Permian rallying for an 8-7 victory in the District 2-6A opener on March 14.
The Lady Panthers (18-7-2 overall, 5-0 in district) can clich a playoff berth with a victory against the Lady Bronchos (9-15, 1-4).
Permian is coming off a 13-12 victory against Midland High, while Odessa High earned its first district victory of the season by defeating Midland Legacy.
