The SandHills Stock Show and Rodeo returns this week at the Ector County Coliseum.
The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association event will get underway with its first performance at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the Coliseum.
There will be six total rodeo performances between Jan. 4-13.
First held in 1933, the SandHills Stock Show and Rodeo has attracted some of the biggest names in the rodeo competition out to West Texas and this year will look to be no different.
Each day will provide different competitions from Heifer Shows to Steer Shows and rodeo performances.
The Super Tuesday Roping event will take place at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 9 with the Team and Match Roping taking place later that day at the Coliseum.
