NORTH AMERICAN HOCKEY LEAGUE: Jackalopes’ Fortier named assistant coach at University of Maine

The Odessa Jackalopes will have a new head coach on the bench for the 2021-22 season.

This comes after former head coach Jason Fortier was named the assistant men’s hockey coach at the University of Maine Wednesday. The school announced the move in a press release.

The team will also be looking for a new assistant coach after Nate Skidmore was hired to an assistant coaching position at Williams College in June.

The Jackalopes finished the season 12-36-4-4 overall during the 2020-21 season.
