Odessa College men’s basketball coach Tra Arnold has accepted an assistant coaching position at Iona College, the school announced Tuesday.
Arnold has been the head coach of the Wranglers since 2012, winning 152 games during that span.
Twice the Western Junior College Athletic Conference’s coach of the year (2016, 2018), Arnold led Odessa College to a pair of WJCAC titles (2016, 2018), two Region V Championships (2016, 2017) and three straight appearances at the NJCAA National Tournament (2016, 2017, 2018).
During his tenure with the Wranglers, Arnold has seen 34 players move to Division I programs, along with watching eight NJCAA Division I first-team All-Americans play in the program.
