AMARILLO The Permian Lady Panthers routed the Amarillo Tascosa Lady Rebels 25-6 in five innings Tuesday night in District 2-6A softball action.
Permian (26-1, 8-1 District 2-6A) outhit the Lady Rebels 27-7. Nine Lady Panthers had a multi-hit night.
Allison Hetherington finished 4 for 4 with a double, home run, two singles and three RBIs. Hannah Banker went 2 for 3 with a double, home run and an RBI.
Hunter Harkrider finished 3 for 3 with two singles, a home run and two RBIs.
Permian pitcher Alexis Morales allowed six hits in five innings, while she struck out nine batters.
