Permian and Odessa High had key District 2-6A basketball games postponed with the decision by ECISD officials to cancel school on Tuesday.
Odessa High’s scheduled softball scrimmage against Monahans also was impacted.
Officials working to reschedule the games were expected to make a decision Tuesday.
The Permian girls and boys basketball teams were set to host Midland High, while the Odessa High teams were scheduled to travel to face Wolfforth Frenship.
Compass Academy also postponed its games at Crane.
