ALPINE The Permian volleyball team defeated Alpine in four sets in a nondistrict game Tuesday on the road.
The Lady Panthers won by scores of 25-22, 25-15, 21-25 and 25-14, improving the team’s overall record to 18-6.
Jade Workman had 22 kills to lead Permian with 41 assists while Bridgit Smithee had 14 kills and 25 assists and Mylah Arzaga finished with six kills and 19 assists.
Permian will next face Amarillo High at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 12 at Amarillo.
