The Permian softball team saw its season come to an end with losses to Fort Worth Boswell in the area round of the playoffs Friday at the Ratliff Softball Complex.

Playing in a best-of-three series, the Pioneers won by scores of 7-4 in Game 1 and 8-5 in Game 2.

Trailing 4-2 at the start of the sixth inning in Game 1, Boswell scored five unanswered runs across the final two innings to cap off a comeback win.
