NORTH RICHLAND HILLS The Permian boys soccer team got its 2022 season off on the right foot with a 2-1 victory against Arlington Lamar in the Richland Tournament Thursday at the Birdville ISD Fine Arts/Athletic Complex.
Jayden Rubio and Johnny Cuellar scored for the Panthers (1-0), with Daniel Adepoju and Isaiah Salcido each adding one assist.
Permian continues the tournament Friday with games against Keller Fossil Ridge and Birdville.
