HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: Bronchos keep season alive with victory over El Paso Franklin

EL PASO The Odessa High boys soccer team came away with a strong result in its Class 6A bi-district round match, defeating El Paso Franklin 4-1 Friday on the road.

Camilo Nicolas scored twice in the first half to give the Bronchos a one-goal lead at the break.

Mark Diaz then increased the lead with a free kick goal in the second half, with JJ Muela also finding the back of the net to secure the victory for Odessa High.

The Bronchos (10-7-5 overall) will advance to face the winner of the Keller-North Crowley matchup in the area round, with details of that contest still being finalized.
