HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Second-half rally lifts Permian past Amarillo Tascosa

AMARILLO The Permian football team was able to adjust in the second half to come away with 13-12 victory against Amarillo Tascosa in nondistrict play Friday at Dick Bivins Stadium.

The host Rebels led, 6-0, at halftime.

The Panthers (3-0) scored twice after the break, with quarterback Rodney Hall finding wide receiver Ja’Quan Richardson along the left sideline for the game-winning score.

Permian returns home to host Killeen Harker Heights at 7 p.m. Friday at Ratliff Stadium.

It will be the Panthers’ homecoming contest.
