Permian traveled to Midland to face off against Legacy High School (formerly Lee) Friday at Grande Communications Stadium. Texas Governor Greg Abbott made an appearance at the game to make take the coin toss and visit supporters after visiting Midland for a campaign fundraiser. Legacy won the game 34-21.
