A pair of area high schools will have new coaches leading their respective football programs this season.
In Class 2A, former Kermit offensive coordinator Berry Bowman was hired to take over at Iraan. He’s hoping to turn around a Braves program that has gone winless the last two seasons.
In Class 1A, Bryan Wardroup will take over as head football coach at Fort Davis.
Wardroup was hired in 2020 as the Fort Davis ISD athletic director and was the varsity football assistant last season.
