Odessa High recently announced the hiring of new head boys cross country and track coach Ron Promesse.
Promesse comes to Odessa having previously coached at El Paso Socorro.
Bringing over 30 years of track and field experience, Promesse is a former Division I sprinter at UTEP and competed in the 100 meters at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia.
