HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Permian, Wolfforth Frenship clash with share of district title at stake

The Permian baseball team hosts Wolfforth Frenship with the District 2-6A title on the line at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at McCanlies Field.

The Panthers (23-7 overall, 13-3 district) are set to play their first game since a 5-2 victory over Midland Lee back on April 17. The Tigers (19-11, 13-3) are coming off a three-game sweep of Odessa High and have won 11 straight games.

Frenship can clinch the top seed in the district with a win while Permian must win Tuesday and Friday. The Panthers fell 3-2 to the Tigers back on March 11.
