MIDLAND A run scored by Zorian Del Real in the top of the seventh helped the Odessa High baseball team defeat Midland Legacy 5-4 Saturday at Ernie Johnson Field.
The late score broke a 4-4 tie and the Bronchos sealed the victory when Isaac Rodriguez recorded three consecutive strikeouts in the bottom of the frame.
Odessa High won the three-game District 2-6A series, bouncing back from a 13-10 loss to the Rebels Friday at Pressly Field.
Jairo Guerrero led the Bronchos with two RBIs.
Odessa High (11-10-1 overall, 3-6 district) will host Midland High at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pressly Field.
