GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: Permian defeats Midland Legacy

MIDLAND The Permian girls soccer team defeated Midland Legacy in a 2-0 win Tuesday at Astound Broadband Stadium.

With the win, the Lady Panthers remain undefeated in the early stages of District 2-6A play as Permian was coming off a 1-0 win over rivals Odessa High last week.

The Lady Rebels fell to 5-5-3, 0-2-0 and are still searching for their first district win of the season.

The Lady Panthers will next face Wolfforth Frenship at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Ratliff Stadium.

Legacy will next face San Angelo Central at 5:30 p.m. Friday in San Angelo.
