GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL SOCCER: Odessa High with strong opening week

FRISCO The Odessa High girls soccer team continued its opening week of play with four games at the Frisco Tournament, Thursday through Saturday.

The Lady Bronchos went 2-1-1 in the event, picking up victories against Centennial (3-0) and Lebanon Trail (2-1), while finishing in a 1-1 tie with Klein Collins.

Richardson Pearce defeated Odessa High, 3-1, in their matchup.

Paris Ray and Tatum Ray each had two goals during the event to pace the Lady Bronchos, with Averi Wagner, Naileah Castro and Trinity Leyva also finding the back of the net.

Mia Collazo, Yaribel Valdez, Wagner, Castro and Tatum Ray all finished with one assist.

Alexia Hernandez made 15 saves, with Taylor Berta finishing with four.
