AUSTIN The Compass Academy girls golf team finished second at the UIL Class 3A State Championships Tuesday at the Jimmy Clay Golf Course with a score of a 339-340–679.
Wall finished first for the third consecutive year, going 332-342—674.
Gunter took third, going 351-363–714.
Compass Academy’s Jordyn Cruz finished fourth, going 79-79–158.
Katie Hart of Mount Pleasant Chapel Hill won the title, going 74-72–146.
