The Permian and Odessa High girls basketball teams will begin District 2-6A play with the crosstown rivalry at 6 p.m. Friday at Permian Fieldhouse.
The Lady Panthers enter district play at 8-9 while the Lady Bronchos are 10-14.
Both teams will face each other again in the second half of district play on Jan. 26 at OHS Fieldhouse.
