WOLFFORTH The Permian Lady Panthers dropped their first game in district play in a 74-28 loss to Wolfforth Frenship Tuesday on the road.
Coming off a 53-40 win over Odessa High last Friday, the Lady Panthers were unable to get much going.
The Lady Tigers recovered from last week’s loss to San Angelo Central to get their first win in District 2-6A play.
Frenship moved to 23-3 overall, 1-1 in district while Permian fell to 18-11, 1-1.
Permian will next face San Angelo Central at 6 p.m. Friday at Permian Fieldhouse.
