UTPB volleyball ended up going undefeated in its home tournament this past weekend, finishing up with victories over St. Mary’s and Sul Ross State on Saturday.
The Falcons moved to 7-1 for the season.
UTPB began the Dr. Steve Aiciena “Iceman” Invitational with a sweep over Minnesota-Crookston last Thursday before defeating Eastern New Mexico 3-1 on Friday.
The Falcons won in five sets against St. Mary’s and followed it up with a win in straight sets over Sul Ross State.
UTPB will be back in action this week with a three-day tournament in Lubbock.
The Falcons will start off against the hosts, Lubbock Christian in a 6 p.m. game Sept. 14.
They’ll face Oklahoma Christian at 3 p.m. Sept. 15 before finishing up against Texas Woman’s University at noon Sept. 16.
