MIDLAND Hunter Harkrider and Marijn Crouwel were the offensive stars as the Odessa College softball team swept a doubleheader, 8-2 and 14-3, against Midland College in Western Junior College Athletic Conference play Friday at Midland College.
In Game 1, Harkrider had three hits and four RBIs to pace the Lady Wranglers, with Aydenne Brown striking out 10 from the circle.
Game 2 saw Crouwel take control at the plate, driving in seven runs in the five-inning, run-rule victory, with Fadwa Ben karim earning the victory. Odessa College led 10-0 after 3.5 innings.
Midland College scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning and then watched the Lady Wranglers tack on four more runs in the fifth for the victory.
