ALLENDALE, MICH. The UTPB men’s golf team opened the season at the Folds of Honor Challenge Sunday at The Meadows.
The Falcons finished the first day shooting 293-293 to sit in sixth place at +18.
Grand Valley State shot 287-282 to finish one over par and leads by five strokes.
UTPB’s Sangha Park shot 71-70 for a two-round score of 141 (-1) and is four shots behind first place individual Drew Coble of Grand Valley State.
The Falcons will finish up the tournament on Monday.
