COLLEGE FOOTBALL: UTPB on the road to face Javelinas

The UTPB football team faces a stern test when it meets Texas A&M-Kingsville at 7 p.m. Saturday at Javelina Stadium.

The Falcons (3-3 overall, 2-2 in Lone Star Conference) earned a 31-24 overtime victory last week against Simon Fraser University

The Javalinas are 6-0, 4-0 and ranked 20th in the nation and average 303 yards rushing per game.

UTPB wide receiver MJ Link is on a streak, having caught a touchdown pass in each of the past five games and has seven total to lead the conference.

He is tied for the conference lead with 37 receptions, for 628 yards, which is second in the conference.
