COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Wranglers rally to start conference play

HOBBS, N.M. Anthony Marshall scored a game-high 26 points off the bench to lead Odessa College to a 92-89 comeback victory against New Mexico Junior College on Saturday at the Caster Activity Center.

Kiree Huie added 20 points and Dontrell Hewlett finished with 17 for the Wranglers (14-1 overall, 1-0 in WJCAC), who trailed by 12 points at halftime.

Micah Jones had 19 points to lead the T-Birds (7-8, 0-1), with Logan McLaughlin and Cameron Kimble each finishing with 16 in the loss.

The teams combined for 61 fouls and four technical fouls in the conference opener.
