COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Wranglers fall to NMMI

ROSWELL, N.M. The Odessa College men’s basketball team suffered a 62-53 loss to New Mexico Military Institute Monday in WJCAC play.

The Wranglers fell to 21-5 overall, 9-3 in WJCAC while the Broncos moved to 9-17, 4-8.

Esay Pipp-White and Brandon Maclin each had eight points to lead the Wranglers while Jordan Ray and Darius Coleman each had seven.

Jonathan Burroughs led the Broncos in scoring with 16 points while Donald Chapman had 13 and Justin Bramao had 11.

The Wranglers will be back at home at 6:45 p.m. Thursday against Western Texas College.
