WEATHERFORD The Odessa College men’s basketball team was knocked out of the Region 5 tournament with a 63-53 loss to No. 1-seed South Plains College in the semifinals Friday at the Betty Jo Graber Athletic Center.
The Wranglers fell to 24-9 while the Texans moved to 31-2.
Odessa College was led in scoring by Willie Lightfoot’s 20 points while Brandon Maclin had 18.
South Plains College was led by both Jabori Mcghee and Jalen Hampton who both scored 19 points while Malique Ewin had 15.
