WOLFFORTH Khalil Haywood, Anthony Marshall and Darrell Armstrong Jr. all had 11 points to lead the Odessa College men’s basketball team to an 80-40 victory against Hill College on the opening day of the Region 5 Tournament.
Chandler Cuthrell added 10 points for the third-ranked Wranglers (29-2), who will face rival Midland College at 3 p.m. Friday in the semifinals.
Odessa College won both meetings against the Chaparrals this season.
All 13 Odessa College players scored in the rout.
Muhamed Kante scored 10 points to lead Hill College.
