The Odessa College basketball teams play their final games of the 2021 calendar year when they travel to face Clarendon College in Western Junior College Athlete Conference play beginning at 2 p.m. in Clarendon.
The Lady Wranglers (2-5 overall, 0-1 in conference) are coming off an overtime loss against New Mexico JC on Thursday at the OC Sports Center, while the men’s team was able to hold off the T-Birds for a conference-opening victory.
Lala Niankan leads the women’s team in scoring at 15.3 points per game, with Jessie Dai second at 12.4.
Daniss Jenkins leads the Wranglers (9-5, 1-0) at 16.4 points and 4.8 assists per game.
