TWIN FALLS, IDAHO The Odessa College men’s basketball team opened its 2022-23 season with a 77-60 victory against No. 12 Lee College on Wednesday at the College of Southern Idaho.
Dian Wright-Forde had a game-high 16 points off the bench to lead the Wranglers, No. 6 in the NJCAA Division I poll.
Dontrell Hewlett added 11 points, Khalil Haywood finished with 10 and Colin Schaefer had six assists in the victory.
Nikolas Traylor scored 12 points to lead Lee College, with Tidjiane Dioumassi adding 10 in the loss.
The Wranglers continue their opening-season road trip against Central Arizona College at 4 p.m. Thursday in Twin Falls.
