COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Late free throw sinks Odessa College in Idaho

TWIN FALLS, IDAHO Joel Armotrading made a free throw with 19 seconds remaining to play to complete a three-point play and lift the College of Southern Idaho past Odessa College, 63-62, on Friday at CSI Gymnasium.

The Wranglers (2-1) had two looks at the basket in the final seconds but could not get either attempt to fall for the victory.

Anthony Marshall scored 20 points to lead sixth-ranked Odessa College, with Kiree Huie and Chandler Cuthrell each finishing with 10 in the loss.

Nate Meithof and Isaiah Moses each had 13 to lead the No. 17 Golden Eagles (3-0) on their home floor.

Odessa College continues is season-opening road trip with a pair games at the JUCO Elite Classic on Sunday and Monday in Edmond, Okla.
