The UTPB men’s and women’s basketball teams earned postseason honors the Lone Star Conference announced Wednesday.
Senior DaJuan Jones was a third-team All-Lone Star Conference selection, finishing with a single-season record of 186 assists.
The women’s team had a trio of representatives, led by second-team selection Alexus Quaadman.
Quaadman, also was named to the conference’s All-Defensive team, led the conference in rebounds and double-doubles and was seventh in blocked shots.
Point guard Avalon Munoz was a third-team choice after finishing second in the conference in steals and third in assists.
Shooting guard Holly Hemmeline, who led the conference in 3-pointers in the 2022-23 season, was an honorable mention selection.
