Odessa College head men’s basketball coach Kris Baumann was named the men’s Two-Year College Coach of the Year for the 2022-23 season.
Odessa College men’s student assistant Sam Stowe was named the Men’s Student Assistant coach of the year.
Baumann is coming off his fifth season with the Wranglers. He helped guide the team to the quarterfinals at the NJCAA Division I National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kan. this year as Odessa College went 30-4 overall and won the Western Junior College Athletic Conference regular season title for the third consecutive year, going 15-1 in WJCAC play.
During his time at OC, the Wrangler men’s basketball team has gone 120-37 overall with four WJCAC regular season titles and four trips to the national tournament.
Stowe is in his first season as the OC men’s basketball s student assistant.
