UTPB baseball coach Brian Reinke is retiring, the school announced Tuesday.
Reinke has led the Falcons’ program since 2005, when it was part of the Red River Conference in the NAIA.
The Falcons won the Heartland Conference title in 2009, reaching the NCAA Division II tournament for the only time in program history. That effort earned Reinke Heartland Conference Coach of the Year honors.
UTPB announced that a national search for a head coach will begin immediately.
