WOMEN’S COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Lady Wranglers still search for a victory

FORT MYERS, FLA. Indian River State College was the model of consistency through three quarters, running away to an 85-73 victory against Odessa College in women’s basketball action Friday at Florida Southwestern State College.

Tavi Habib scored a game-high 27 points for the Pioneers (8-4), who scored 22 points in each of the first three quarters.

Maryanne Logsdon added 17 points, Breanna Campbell finished with 12 and Brianna Raynor chipped in 10 the victory.

Jesse Dai and Lala Niankan each scored 20 points to lead the Lady Wranglers (2-7), with Niankan also pulling down a game-high 12 rebounds.
