NUGGETS: ‘Kingdom’

By Jannie Linney

The Kingdom of Heaven is a Place. Is Visual, an Image, a tangible place.

The Kingdom of God is a Method. A way, a Lifestyle, a Tactic.

“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God’s so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore, do not worry, saying, what shall we eat? Or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? For after all these things the gentiles seek. For your heavenly father knows that you need all these things. But seek you first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you” But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you” [Matt. 6:28-33].

Jesus spoke many things to them in parables; the first in-depth parable, He said “Listen! Behold a Sower went out to sow” [Mark 4:3]. He started with the parable of the Sower, because sowing is the principle of who God is. “he said to them,” do you not understand this parable? How then will you understand all the parables” [Mark 4:13]. He explained why He spoke in Parables. “to you it has been given to know the mystery of the Kingdom of God but to those who are outside all things come in parables” [Luke 4:11].

The Kingdom of heaven is a place a real tangible place that he has prepared for those who come to him and give themselves to him. It is a promise that he gave us, we look forward to someday being with him and all of our loved ones who know him. But it seems he taught about the Kingdom of God throughout the word in parables he said the Kingdom of God is like,—-the Kingdom of God is like ——-. then he drew us a word picture, revealing what the Kingdom of God is like. The Kingdom of God is a method a plan, a lifestyle, a mode of action to move into the promised visible place of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Seek ye First, First, not second, third, or hardly ever—-.The kingdom of God and His Righteousness, The Kingdom of His methods, His ways, His actions, So He taught sowing, The bases of living the Christian life. He taught for the sake of mankind, that what man gives, comes back to him. It is a law. Our prayer should be, instead of Lord please give me —-“Lord teach me how to Give! Teach me your ways to give into the needs of others, and I know my needs will be met. If I need love, I give love. The golden rule, do unto others as you would that they do unto you. God sowed His Son, that He could have a Family, Jesus taught “ Seek ye first, the kingdom of God “And” His righteousness.

Wow, how do we do that? The Bible says Our Righteous is as filthy rags, humm! That makes it harder. No! look, it said And “His righteousness, His!” We “walk” in the Kingdom of God—-His methods, His personality, His ways that he teaches, and we have “His” righteousness! Then the things we have been working so hard for —-they just come. We get the cart before the horse. If we want to live in the Kingdom of Heaven, we get there by walking in the Kingdom of God.
