LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Open letter to Texas governor

Dear Governor Abbott,

I am very surprised, saddened and disappointed that you have become pro-choice. I always thought that you were pro-life, but it looks like I am wrong. When you issued your order against mask mandates, that told me that you had switched sides and had become totally pro-choice.

But at least I must congratulate you on being consistent. You obviously believe that it’s OK for a person to choose to expose him/herself and to expose others as well to serious illness and death. So, I presume that you also believe that it is ok for a woman to use her freedom to end the life of her unborn child. But is consistency worth a human life?
