The Sandstorm Aggie Mom Club partnered with Keep Odessa Beautiful to The Big Event Saturday morning across Odessa. Approximately 100 volunteers met Saturday morning at Paul Slator Park to take part in the nationwide service-led project that engages local communities through community and campus cleanups that aim to empower, educate and create awareness on the importance of keeping communities litter free. After the conclusion of the event, volunteers were treated to free drinks and snacks donated by United Supermarkets as well as entered in a drawing for over $1,000 in gift cards.
