The Salvation Army is set to open their Mabee Red Shield Lodge as an emergency inclement temporary shelter Wednesday evening following their evening meal service, which begins at 5 p.m.. Chef Alejandro Barrientos of Curb Side Bistro has also pledged to help provide meals at the shelter for those in need Wednesday evening and throughout Thursday as the winter storm passes through the Permian Basin.
