Saturday evening four bands competed in the 2022 Battle of the Bands. The competition was hosted by Downtown Odessa, Odessa Arts and the Historic Ector Theater as part of the weekend-long Firecracker Fandango 4th of July Celebrations.
In addition to several other prizes, the bands were vying for the headlining gig at the final Hot Summer Nights to be held at the Noel Heritage Plaza.

And the Winners Are!!! Soulstrum. Soulstrum, by nature of their 2022 Battle of the Bands first place win, will be the headliners at the Hot Summer Nights final show of the season, July 29 at the Noel Heritage Plaza at 8 p.m. Saturday evening four bands competed in the 2022 Battle of The Bands.
