The Spirit and Truth Church hosted a Gingerbread Extravaganza event on Saturday morning. Congregation members, as well as community members were able to take part in a gingerbread workshop which allowed for families to participate in decorating and taking home gingerbread houses.
Pastor Russ Nebhut said his church wanted to continue the gingerbread workshop tradition this year because it gives families an opportunity to do something fun with their children or grandchildren. “It’s just a fun, family event. We want to make Christmas special for families,” he said.
