UTPB music major Francisco Zermeno from Big Spring, Texas plays the National Anthem to open the American Legion "Let Freedom Ring" event. The parade starts and makes the turn from 17th Street on to Grant Monday morning. A stilt walker begins the trip down Grant Street as the parade turns South from 17th Street. The Downtown Lions Club sponsored the 4th of July Parade and the Club's Queen Giselle Arenivas gets a chance to use the royal wave. The OHS Dance Team, the 2022 National Champion Team, are welcomed by the parade crowd.
