Members of the local Cuban community held a demonstration Tuesday evening in downtown Odessa to show support for the protests occurring in Cuba against the government of Cuban president Miguel Díaz-Canel. The protests which began on Sunday are calling for an end to the country’s dictatorship that has been in place for 62 years as well as calling for better living conditions, public services and medical attention.
