Midland man running 100 miles for Alzheimer’s

Midland native Abraham Bejil is running 100 miles for the West Texas chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association to raise funds to advance care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The will be held Feb. 6 at the Huntsville Texas State Park.

The run will commemorate the Alzheimer’s Association summer solstice fundraiser, The Longest Day, when the day with the most light is used by people worldwide to engage in fundraising activities to help fight Alzheimer’s.

The 100 mile Ultra Marathon with a 30 hour-cutoff is hosted by Tejas Trails and sponsored by Hoka One One.
