The Young Professionals Social and Service Committees are joining forces in support of Honor Our Troops (H.O.T.) with a service and social mixer from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Beer Garden.
The event will include talented karaoke.
Members are free and non-members are $10.
Donations for care packages are welcomed.
Travel size items needed for care packages include: Pringles, tuna cans, Vienna sausage, drink mix, cereal, ravioli, noodles, can fruit, hot chocolate, EZ mac, oatmeal, soup, stews, chili, socks, toothpaste, tooth brushes, deodorant gel, foot powder, shampoo, lotion, baby wipes, razors, Chapstick, Q-tips, sunscreen, Cracker Jack boxes, trail mix, beef jerky, Slim Jim’s, peanuts, Rice Krispy Treats, popcorn, Gardettos, Chex Mix, cheese/peanut crackers, fruity snacks, sunflower seeds, DVDs (PG, PG13), candy ($1 boxes) and magazines (sports, gun, car, people, Reader’s Digest).
