A four-vehicle wreck resulted in the death of a motorcyclist Tuesday night and injuries to two other cyclists.
According to an Odessa Police Department news release, a woman driving a Nissan Altima failed to yield to several motorcyclists while turning left onto Governor Preston Smith from westbound 42nd Street shortly before 8 p.m.
Severo Muniz, who was riding a Kawasaki Ninja, collided with the Altima as did another motorcyclist and a third motorcyclist laid down his bike, according to OPD.
Muniz was pronounced dead at Medical Center Hospital, the second motorcyclist suffered serious bodily injuries and the third was treated at the scene and released.
An investigation is ongoing.
