‘Wouldn’t It Be Lovely’ sets last performances

“Wouldn’t It Be Lovely,” a play based on George Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion” and the musical “My Fair Lady,” has its last performances Feb. 1, 2 and 3 at 7:30 p.m. at the Globe Theatre. Seating is limited.

General Admission tickets are $15 and can be purchased at LovelyGlobe.BrownPaperTickets.com. All faculty and students will be admitted free with an Odessa College ID.

Saturday evening’s opening performance at the Globe Theatre of the Odessa College Theatre Department’s production, “Wouldn’t It Be Lovely – a modern fairytale,” played to a sold-out house, a news release said.

“We would like to thank the audiences for a sold-out opening night and a momentous opening weekend. Response to the show has been overwhelming, and the performers have unlocked new potential. You have three more opportunities, this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, to experience the magic of live theatre with ‘Wouldn’t It Be Lovely,’ so we hope that you will come join us,” OC theatre department director Aaron Ganz said in the release.
